Use AI with clear rules, so your data and your reputation stay protected.
AI governance and security gives your business written rules and technical safeguards for using AI: who may use which tools, what data stays out, what gets logged and who answers for mistakes. We work alongside your counsel and do not give legal advice.

COMMON PROBLEMS WE FIX
Security and privacy worries that AI governance addresses
AI use tends to grow faster than the rules around it. These are the worries owners raise, with what we put in place for each and how things feel afterwards.
01
“Staff paste customer information into public AI tools, and I can't stop it.”
WHAT WE DOWe write a short AI use policy in plain language, list approved tools and banned data types, set up business accounts with data controls, and train staff using examples from their real tasks.WHAT CHANGESPeople know where the line is, and an approved option exists so they stop reaching for risky shortcuts.
02
“I don't know which vendors can see our data or where it goes.”
WHAT WE DOWe map each AI tool's data flow: what it receives, where it is processed and stored, which raises data residency questions, how long it is kept and whether it learns from your inputs. Then we compare the answers with your obligations.WHAT CHANGESYou can state which providers touch your data and why, and you choose with the facts in hand.
03
“Could someone trick our chatbot into leaking information or doing harm?”
WHAT WE DOWe test for prompt injection by feeding agents hostile text hidden in emails, pages and documents, limit each tool's permissions to the minimum, keep secrets out of prompts and filter what leaves.WHAT CHANGESWeak spots are found by us first, and the agent can touch far less than it could.
04
“If an AI makes a mistake with a customer, I won't know how it happened.”
WHAT WE DOWe add logging that records inputs, outputs, tools used and approvals, set retention rules, name an owner for each system and write the steps to follow when an AI gets something wrong.WHAT CHANGESA mistake becomes traceable, and everyone knows who investigates and what happens next.
WHY IT MATTERS
Using AI safely needs rules, not just good intentions
AI tools spread through a business faster than policy does. Someone starts summarizing client emails in a public chatbot, another person connects an assistant to the shared drive, a third signs up for an app that learns from whatever it receives. Nobody meant harm, yet the owner cannot say what data went where.
AI governance and security brings that under control. It sets the policy, limits what each tool can reach, logs what happens and tests for threats peculiar to AI, such as prompt injection and data leakage. Privacy duties under laws such as PIPEDA come into it, and we work alongside your counsel because legal advice is theirs to give.
SIGNS YOU NEED THIS
Staff use AI tools nobody has approved
You cannot say which vendors hold your data
AI systems have no named owner or log
BENEFITS
What AI governance gives your business
What changes for your business once it’s done properly.
✓01
Rules staff can follow
A plain policy states approved tools, protected data and review duties, so people can use AI confidently without guessing where the boundary lies.
✓02
Visibility into data flows
You know what each AI vendor receives, where it is processed and how long it is kept, which makes privacy questions from customers answerable.
✓03
Fewer ways in for attackers
Narrow permissions, input checks and tested defences against prompt injection limit what a hostile message or document can make an AI system do.
✓04
Accountability written down
Every AI system has an owner, a log and an escalation path, so when something goes wrong the response is calm and traceable.
We audit your website, search presence, ads and competitors to find what is and isn’t working.
02
Plan
A clear strategy: which channels, what budget, and the targets we will report against.
03
Create & launch
Design, build, content and campaigns produced in-house by one connected team.
04
Measure & grow
Ongoing reporting and optimization, so spend moves to what brings in customers.

It is the set of rules, roles and records that decide how AI is used in your business. That covers which tools are approved, what data stays out, who reviews output, what gets logged and who is accountable. Good governance is mostly clear writing and sensible limits, not paperwork for its own sake.
Cybersecurity services protect your networks, devices and accounts from attackers in general. AI governance covers risks specific to AI: staff sharing data with models, vendors learning from your inputs, prompt injection and agents holding too many permissions. They overlap on access control and logging, and a sound programme needs both.
Prompt injection is hidden or hostile text, in an email, web page or document, that tries to make an AI follow the attacker's instructions instead of yours. It matters most when an AI can read outside content and also take actions. We limit permissions, separate trusted from untrusted text, test with hostile samples and require approval for risky steps.
We cannot certify compliance, and nobody should promise it. We map your data flows, write policies and set up controls with privacy duties such as PIPEDA in view, then give your counsel clear information to review. Legal advice and sign-off come from your own lawyer, with our technical work supporting that decision.
