Specialized disability accommodation and personalized support for people with high support needs, in a safe, inclusive environment.
Cocoon’s goals were a stronger online presence, better local visibility and more qualified leads. In this field, a qualified lead is a person or family whose needs genuinely match the housing and support on offer. Cocoon needed to be found by people searching in the language of the disability sector, and to explain its accommodation and support clearly once they arrived.
In Australia, specialist disability accommodation is funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme, so many searches use scheme terms such as NDIS and SDA. The person searching is often not the future resident but a family member or support coordinator comparing options on their behalf. They look for plain facts about the type of housing, the support provided and the location, and they need to trust a provider before making contact. Marketing in this sector has to be accurate, respectful and specific rather than promotional.

Online presence, local visibility and lead quality. As a provider of disability accommodation and support for people with high support needs, Cocoon wanted more inquiries from people whose needs fit what it offers, and to be easier to find in searches about NDIS and SDA housing.
SEO, social media and paid ads. The work includes a full website audit and keyword research for NDIS and SDA terms, on-page SEO and monthly backlink building, and branded Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn profiles on a regular posting schedule. Google Ads and Meta Ads were set up with A/B testing and monthly ROI reporting.
The client reported +60% website traffic and +40% qualified inquiries, along with improved Google rankings for key SDA-related terms. These figures come from Cocoon’s Clutch review, where Clara Stack, Business Marketing Executive, wrote: “Overall, the experience was great.” The engagement is ongoing.
The structure can carry over: research the exact terms families and coordinators use, build pages that answer them, and support that with steady social profiles and measured ad tests. How well it works depends on your services, your region and the rules that apply in your sector. Cocoon’s numbers describe one provider’s experience, not a promise for another.
